The Livity Community
You may have noticed that my posting has been a little less than normal in recent weeks. A few of you may have even wondering what I have been up to, why I have not been on Facebook or Twitter with the usual regularity. Well my Livity Lovelies there is a very good explanation for this and it is called The Livity Community. I have formed a not-for-profit organisation that has a goal to address issues around health and well being within our local community. We have been beavering away filling applicaitons, applying for funding and generally organising what this might look like. I am super excited to announce that we have been successful with our first applications and will soon be facilitating a women’s focused, produce growing, community builiding project and a social enterprise development project based in an area of Northampton that suffers high deprevation, low employment and many other social issues. I am so excited with this and we have many plans and ideas up our sleeves to be able to reach out into the community and engage with them around these very important topics. I wanted to let you know what has been happening and hope that you will be able to support us in the work that we are doing with words of encouragement.
